Terms of Service
Weekly Pool Service
Month-to-Month Pool Service
Silver State Pool Service does not require a long-term contract. Pool service is provided on a month-to-month basis and may be canceled by either the customer or Silver State Pool Service before the next month of service begins.
During each regularly scheduled weekly pool-service visit, our technician will:
Brush the pool walls.
Remove debris from the water’s surface.
Check and clean the skimmer and pump baskets as needed.
Test the pool water and check chemical readings.
Adjust the pool chemicals as necessary.
Visually inspect the pool equipment for signs of problems.
Vacuum the pool as needed.
The exact amount of cleaning and chemical adjustment required may vary based on the pool’s condition, weather, usage, and seasonal conditions.
Weekly Digital Service Report
After each weekly visit, Silver State Pool Service sends the customer a digital pool-service report confirming that service was completed. The report includes:
A photograph of the pool
The name of the technician
The date and time of service
The pool’s recorded chemical readings
The chemicals added during the visit
These reports provide customers with a consistent record of their pool cleaning, water chemistry, and ongoing maintenance. They can also be helpful for owners of new pools who may need service and chemical records when addressing potential plaster or equipment concerns.
Equipment Inspections and Repairs
Weekly service includes a visual inspection of accessible pool equipment. If we notice a potential problem, we will notify the customer. This inspection is not a comprehensive mechanical or electrical diagnostic evaluation and does not guarantee that every equipment problem will be detected before a failure occurs.
Repairs, replacement parts, specialized treatments, and services outside the weekly maintenance listed above are not included in the regular monthly service price unless specifically stated. Additional work will be discussed with the customer before it is performed.
Filter Cleaning
Pool filters are generally cleaned twice per year to support proper water circulation, filtration, and equipment performance. Filter cleaning is not included in the regular monthly pool-service rate and will be billed separately.
Additional filter cleanings may be recommended if required due to heavy pool use, wind and debris, algae, construction dust, high filter pressure, or other pool conditions. The customer will be notified if an additional cleaning appears necessary.
Spring Preventative Chemical Treatment
As part of our seasonal pool-care program, Silver State Pool Service performs a spring preventative chemical treatment to help prepare the pool for warmer weather and increased risk of algae growth.
This treatment includes phosphate remover and a mineral-based algaecide and water purifier. It is separate from routine weekly chemical maintenance and will be billed at an additional cost. Customers will be notified of the treatment and its cost before it is added to the pool.
Access to the Pool
The customer is responsible for providing safe and reliable access to the pool and equipment on the scheduled service day. Gates must be unlocked or accessible through a customer-provided code, combination lock, or lockbox.
Pets must be secured away from the service area. If we cannot safely access the property, the visit may be recorded as an attempted service call and may not be rescheduled.
Weather and Unusual Pool Conditions
Heavy rain, high winds, dust storms, extreme weather, construction, landscaping debris, parties, or unusually heavy pool use can significantly affect a pool’s cleanliness and water chemistry. Silver State Pool Service will make reasonable adjustments during regular visits, but extensive cleanup or corrective treatment may require an additional service and fee.
Customer Responsibilities
Customers agree to:
Maintain adequate water levels in the pool.
Provide safe access to the pool and equipment.
Notify us of known leaks, equipment issues, remodeling, or unusual pool conditions.
Follow any instructions provided concerning equipment operation or water chemistry.
Notify us before adding chemicals or allowing another company to service the pool.
Changes or Cancellation
Because service is month-to-month, customers may cancel before the next service month begins by contacting Silver State Pool Service. Any outstanding balance remains due after cancellation.
Billing and Payment Policy
Monthly pool-service invoices are issued on the first day of each month and are due by the 15th of that month.
To help us provide dependable service to all our customers:
An account must be paid in full before service continues into the following month.
If a balance remains from the previous month, pool service will be suspended until the account is brought current or an approved payment arrangement is made.
If an invoice remains unpaid at the end of the month, a late fee of $20 will be added to the account.
Service suspension does not eliminate the customer’s responsibility for unpaid invoices or applicable late fees.
Customers experiencing payment difficulties are encouraged to contact us before the end of the month. As a locally owned pool service company, we are willing to discuss a reasonable payment plan when arrangements are made in advance.
