The operation explained
The chlorine generator would be installed with your return pump system. You would add standard table salt to the pool water (about less than a teaspoon per gallon). As the salt flows through the generator, the process of electrolysis happens, and the salt is converted to pure chlorine. This chlorinated water is now distributed into the pool.
